Jenny Luxe Braids is an African hair braiding salon located at 3025 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433. We serve clients across the Twin Cities — including Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Blaine, Anoka, Champlin, and Fridley.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online at jennyluxebraids.com. A deposit is required to secure your appointment, and walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
What are Bora Bora braids?
Bora Bora braids are a vacation-inspired braiding style with long, flowing ends and a wispy, beachy finish — ultra glamorous and eye-catching, and a beautiful alternative to traditional boho or knotless braids.
What’s the difference between boho braids and knotless braids?
Knotless braids are a clean, pain-free protective style with no starting knot — they lie flat and look very natural. Boho braids add loose, curly strands throughout for a free-spirited, romantic look. Both are available in small, medium, and large.
How long do knotless braids last?
With proper care, knotless braids can last 6–8 weeks. We recommend moisturizing your scalp weekly and wrapping your hair in a silk or satin bonnet at night to extend the life of your style.
How long do boho or Bora Bora braids take?
Boho and Bora Bora braids typically take 5–9 hours depending on the size and length you choose. We recommend planning for a full-day appointment.
What are stitch braids?
Stitch braids are a feed-in cornrow style with a clean, stitched pattern that gives a sleek, precise finish — popular for both everyday wear and special occasions.
Do you provide the hair, or do I bring my own?
It depends on the service — some styles include hair provided by the salon, which is noted on our pricing page. We’ll let you know exactly what to bring when you book.
Do you offer kids’ and men’s braids?
Yes to both! We offer Kids Braids and Men’s Braids, including cornrows and stitch braids, at our Coon Rapids salon.
What are your salon hours?
We’re open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We’re closed on Sundays.
